The original characters and spirit of each story remain - but the imagery, narrative, and values are subtly different. Gone are damsels in distress, homogenous characters and patriarchal messages; replaced by exciting adventures, and some inspiring characters!

We're trying to change this.
Our characters, narratives and illustrations are designed to help children imagine a better world, full of exciting adventures where everyone matters and all voices are heard.
With our first book published in 2019, a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and now the release of Cinderella in November 2022, we're incredibly excited to share our books withe the world!

Our Story
Not so long ago, in a city you most likely have heard of and may even have been to, a soon to be middle-aged, balding dad was lying in bed reading good night stories to his little baby daughter.
While lying there with the little one in his arms, he noticed something strange. It seemed that all princesses in these fairy tales needed to be saved and that their most important characteristic was their beauty...
Other Projects
As well as our own books, we've written an exclusive audio series for Mytheresa, read by the likes of Munroe Bergdorf, April Kae, Toni Garrn and many others.
We've worked with schools to deliver workshops on writing, as well as setting up a pop-up store in East Berlin. We're a small team, but have a big heart and plenty of dreams for the future.
